After the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI) accepted the documentation for the Easee Home and Charge charging stations a few weeks ago, the Swedish and Norwegian market surveillance authorities are now also reporting fantastic news:
Sweden.
Easee was able to demonstrate that the safety requirements are met. Therefore, on April 22, the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority (Elsäkerhetsverket) published the decision that no installation adjustments are necessary for already installed Easee charging stations in Sweden.
The legal proceedings between Easee and Elsäkerhetsverket have now been settled.
Norway.
Shortly after the decision of the Swedish authority, the Norwegian authorities DSB and Nkom also made statements. The Norwegian authorities support Sweden's decision: In Norway, too, Easee does not need to implement any measures on already installed charging stations.
Additional information from simplee.
From our perspective, these decisions mean the following:
- The "Easee Home" and "Easee Charge" charging stations meet the safety requirements.
-
- This is particularly true for the residual current protection (30mA AC / 6mA DC) of these models.
- As of today, Easee has no financial risk in Norway and Sweden that existing installations need to be adjusted.
Safe. Smart. Simply Easee.
